Scale Calibration

Before powering up the scale card power supply make sure all wiring is correct. If any rewiring or re-splicing is needed make sure to power off scale card power supply.

Entire process is done on internal interface

Go to scale menu (4) to scale layout (1):

• Channel 1 – silo 1
• Channel 2 – silo 2
• Channel 3 – scale 1
• Channel 4 – scale 2

Go to scale menu (4) to test (8), check AD readings:

• Silos = 1500-15000 AD
• Scales = 15000-20000 AD (with platform hanging)

If AD readings are in range above go to scale menu (4) to calibration (9).

Bird Scale:

Make sure there is an inch of clearance between scale platform and bedding. Place cursor on channel 3 for bird scale 1 and follow steps below.

1. Press enter to go into calibration mode. Make sure bird scale is empty before proceeding to next step.
2. Press enter for tare registration. After tare wait 5 seconds.
3. Place 5 lbs weight on bird scale (make sure to place the weight gently so the scale does not swing).
4. On the control enter the weight, wait 5 seconds and press enter.
5. Remove weight and press menu.
6. Place cursor on channel 4 for scale 2 and repeat process.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for channel 4 Scale 2

Bin Scale:

Make sure there is no feed in the bin. Make sure there is an inch clearance from bin leg to concrete. Place cursor on channel 1 for silo scale 1 and follow steps below.

1. Press enter to go into calibration mode. Make sure nothing is placed on bin legs/crossbars.
2. Press enter for tare registration.
3. Place (8) 45 lb weights on bin crossbars and press enter.
4. On control enter weight (360 lbs) and press enter.
5. Remove weights and press enter.

1. Enter current bin weight (zero) and press enter.
2. Press menu.
3. Place cursor on channel 2 for silo2.
4. Repeat steps 1-7 for channel 2 Silo 2
