This document detail how to replace the Comm-Box 2.0 SSD. Follow the instructions exactly as given.
- Perform this procedure only after being instructed to do so by an authorized dealer.
- Replace the SSD card in the event of an EFI Shell failure (refer to Figure 1).

Redefining the BIOS
1. Turn off the unit.
2. Plug a USB disk (FAT32) with BIOS Directory into one of the USB ports.
3. Connect the Comm-Box to a mouse, keyboard, and screen.
4. Turn on the unit and press ESC a few times until you enter the bios screen. (see below).
5. Scroll right to Boot Bar.
6. In the Boot Bar scroll down to option #1: press ENTER and select UEFI:Built-in EFI Shell; press ENTER again.
7. Select F4 (Save and Exit). The unit reboots and will arrive to <Shell>.
8. In the <Shell> press the following:
- >fs0: ENTER
- fs0:>cd nise50 ENTER
- fs0:\nise50> fpt64.efi -f n050b062.rom ENTER
9. The BIOS flashes; at the end of the process turn off the unit.
Replacing the SSD Card
1. Disconnect the unit from power and turn off the battery.
2. Open the unit.
3. Place the 32 GB SSD card in the slot indicated below.
4. Put the cover back in place and replaces all screws.
Verifying the BIOS
1. Turn on the unit and the battery.
2. Enter the bios by pressing ESC until you enter the bios screen.
3. Scroll right to boot screen. You should see the M-SATA drive in the first position priority.
4. Press F4 (Save and Exit).
