We are excited to announce the release of TrioAir Version 20240918.4, featuring new enhancements and functionalities designed to improve users’ experience.
1. Controller Registration and Connection to TrioAir
A new onboarding process for registering Trio Controllers with TrioAir has been introduced. Registration remains optional; however it enables superior device management. The user interface is now more intuitive, with regular reminders encouraging users having unregister controllers to complete the process. Registered devices enable access to TrioAir’s remote management capabilities and ensure compliance with Trio Controller and TrioAir T&Cs.

- Regular reminders for users who skip registration.
- Remote management capabilities through TrioAir.
2. New User Experience for Post Sign-In/Sign-Up Flow
This release improves the post sign-in and sign-up user experience by introducing legal and verification features that enhance usability and security.
Key Improvements:
- Added phone verification to ensure valid contact information, critical for the alarm system.
- Phone verification is now available in both the My Account page and sign‑in process.
- Enhanced post sign-up flow for a smoother user experience.
3. Support Ticket Submission and Documentation Portal
A new feature allows users to access documentation portals directly within the TrioAir platform. Additionally, Premium users can now submit support tickets directly through the platform.
Key Features:
- Premium Users: Can submit support tickets through a pre-filled form using verified TrioAir account emails.
- Freemium Users: Prompted to upgrade to Premium to access the ticket submission feature.
- All users can explore the documentation portal, which includes release notes, installation guides, and extensive troubleshooting content.
4. Bug Fixes
Various bug fixes and performance improvements have been made to enhance stability and user experience including the below:
- TrioAir Dashboard Not Loading on Controller Version 7.2.5 Bug Description: The TrioAir dashboard failed to load when paired with a controller running version 7.2.5. Fix: The dashboard now loads successfully when using TrioAir with controllers on version 7.2.5.
- Duplicate Phone Numbers Allowed in TrioAir Bug Description: Different users were able to register with the same phone number, as the system did not enforce phone number uniqueness. Fix: Users can no longer register with a phone number that already exists in the system. Each phone number must be unique.
- Duplicate T&Cs Displayed During Account Creation Bug Description: Users were prompted to confirm the Terms and Conditions twice during account creation. Fix: The user is now only required to confirm the Terms and Conditions once when creating a new account.
5. Known Issues:
- The map does not display on iOS devices within the application.
- In the Data Sharing screen, the MTech key is saved even if the user cancels the changes.
- During the phone verification process in the mobile app, the country code list opens upwards, preventing users from selecting a country from the search results.
- When accessing a farm on TrioAir via mobile, the farm dashboard does not display properly until the user clicks on the screen.
- Users are unable to add more than 10 rows to certain tables (e.g., ventilation, temperature curve, bird weight) within the controller on the mobile app. The "Add Row" button disappears, and the "Save" button becomes disabled after 10 rows. Full control is still available from the Controller itself.
These known issues are actively being addressed, and further updates will be provided in future releases.
