To initiate the RMA process, please contact Munters Customer Support and open a Zendesk ticket. The assigned agent will help you get the RMA Number. You must include a printed copy of the Zendesk ticket with the RMA number in all packages shipped to Munters. Munters is only responsible for packages with an RMA number
Dealer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for:
- Filling the RMA form in the Zendesk ticket
- Shipping Products to Munters must be in the original or protected box (PCBA must be in an ESD-protected bag)
- A packing list of all returned items. Do not mix units under warranty and not under warranty in the same RMA
- Update Zendesk ticket with shipping tracking number
- Dealer is covering the shipping costs to Munters
Munters Responsibility
Munters is responsible for:
- Repairing or replacing products that are under warranty
- Munters is covering shipping costs to return the product to the customer
Warranty Coverage
Products that are under warranty will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
Products that are not under warranty will be repaired for a fee of $110
CommBox and Communicator's testing and minor repair cost: $110. Major repair costs $150
For units that cannot be repaired, an update will be sent to the customer
Warranty Period: The warranty period for all products is one year
Non-Covered Items
The warranty does not cover the following items:
- Damage caused by misuse, installation, or neglect
- Damage caused by an accident or by unauthorized repairs
- Normal wear and tear
- Using an installer who is not a certified electrician
- ESD damages in the field
- Controllers that were *changed by customers. (Unless the malfunction proved to be the cause by production failure)
*The Meaning of Changed: Repair and/ or replacement of card/ LCD/ mechanic that were not made by Munters production

Abandoned Products: If a customer does not claim the product and pay all charges due within ninety (90) days after being notified by Munters Customer Support, Munters will consider the product abandoned. Munters may dispose of the customer’s product in accordance with applicable provisions of law
